Double counterpane/ grandfoulard/ tabel cloth/ hippie bed spread. Hand printed with wooden blocks on very nice good quality thick cotton sheeting. Responsibly printed with respect for people and planet. Each piece is a work of art. Measures at least 260 X 240 cm. Textile from Sangeneer(Jaipur) India. vegetable dyes and thus no chemicals are used. The working conditions are good, I controle this myself.
After a few hand washes (cold water and lots of white vinegar) you can wash it in the machine making sure you only wash with similar colours & add lots of vinegar ( which your machine will love as it will de-calcium it much cheaper than using the chemical stuff) and at no more than 30 degrees. Vinegar will help keep your colours looking nice and crisp and fresh for much longer, too. This is for all your wash not only this bedspread.I dont have a drier so I have never tried synthethically drying one. I always use the old fashioned line drying method so I can recommend this.
